Advantages of Lake Geneva Region

The proximity of two areas subject to different legal approaches and fiscal regimes but accustomed to a long tradition of collaboration is a key advantage of the Lake Geneva Region. Switzerland's decision to remain outside of the European Union has opened the door to many cross-border initiatives within the framework of the bilateral agreements established with EU member states.
